As a daycare director we stand on the belief that how you treat and discipline another person's child must have limits. We do not result to any harsh language, speaking volumes, or physical discipline. We prefer to lead by example when it comes to communicating feelings and wants. Demonstrating this behavior and rewarding it will encourage the child to speak up when they have to something they want or on their mind rather than resulting in a temper tantrum, which do not get rewarded, EVER.
Be mindful to that fact that kids are very impressionable and will repeat what they say and here. We know that some of these things may not come naturally to you due to past jobs, experiences, and etc. so we provided resourceful videos that may assist you.
